We exist to give families their weekends back.
Social media is brilliant at showing you places and hopeless at getting you there. Trovela exists to close that gap: collect what you save and turn it into real plans on the map.
Trovela comes from to find.
From trobar, the troubadour’s verb: “to find, to compose”. Our mark takes it literally — a treasure chest with a map pin rising out of the lid. What you open is not gold: it is somewhere to go. Discovery and place, fused into a single gesture.
That is the promise in one sentence: Trovela finds the good stuff and turns it into a plan.
Chest-and-Map · the chest says discovery, the pin says place.
Turning scrolling into real days out.
We think the best use of a screen is the one that ends with you far away from it, somewhere new, with the people who matter to you. We are not competing for your attention; we are competing with “let’s just stay in, then”.
Four pillars, no small print.
Curated, not endless
We defend your attention. A few good plans are worth more than a feed that never ends.
Real places
Everything lands somewhere you can actually stand. Inspiration without an address is no use to us.
Family first
We design for whoever is planning the family weekend, not for a time-on-screen metric.
Warm and dependable
A bit of joy — it is a treasure chest, after all — but legible, accessible and calm.
Real Spanish and Catalan — not translated.
We built for the Iberian Peninsula first, because it is where we live these weekends ourselves. Spain and Portugal share a weekend and a doorstep, so it is the natural place to begin: listen to families, take the language seriously, get the small things right.
